The MAA THOTA program, supported by NABARD, focuses on improving livelihoods in tribal communities through the development of core fruit crop orchards. Implemented in areas where poverty and food insecurity are significant, the program targets 500 tribal families directly. These families previously lacked technical knowledge and resources necessary for sustainable farming. Through this initiative, beneficiaries received support for orchard development, soil fertility enhancement, and market linkages. As a result, 750 families have reported an increase in income, and 500 families have improved their nutrition and food security. Additionally, the program helped enhance soil fertility across 470 acres, and livelihood opportunities were created in 15 villages.
